Take-off in style with #michaelthecook

This Thursday, 7 September, we are throwing open the doors of the BOL. The good atmosphere for the theatre season will already be fixed with that night’s performance, Malcolm X, a funky theatre concert that was labelled “a breaking point in Flemish theatre history” by the newspaper De Standaard.

Before the performances take over, however … It’s party time

This is how we'll roll:

From noon onwards, tables and benches are ready to receive you on the square in front of the BOL. Having sandwiches, chatting away, reading, playing cards … Our set can deal with it all.

At 5:30 PM, we’ll be switching to after work mode, with an aperitif and pasta (vongole €10 / veggie €10) cooked for you by the one and only Michael The Cook. He will put on the apron for this special occasion – until 7:30 PM. A whiff of music will not be absent either.

At 8 PM, it’s time for Malcolm X, the performance in the BOL, but no worries for those who don’t have a seat: the party outside goes on!

There we go. The aperitif has cooled down; the apron is pulled out of the back closet. You bring the vibes. See you then?!
