Luk Perceval’s Black is running a victory lap of Flemish theatres, but there are critical voices too. How should the contemporary theatre and art world deal with our colonial past? KVS is collaborating with Rekto:Verso and Kif Kif to organise a debate instigated by Luk Perceval’s BLACK (NTGent).

Will join us at KVS for a fascinating and necessary thought exchange: Bambi Ceuppens (anthropologist, Africa museum), Matthias De Groof (filmmaker and researcher), Orlando Verde (Kif Kif staff member, author), Nadia Nsayi (policy coordinator Congo Broederlijk delen/Pax Christi), Steven Heene (leader of artistic bureau NTGent) and Omar Ba (moderator).

Free, booking is advised but not compulsory. The debate will be conducted in Dutch. Sandwiches will be available for sale, after the debate and before the spectacle.
