One actor brings Sophocles’ text to life, like a medium who brings conflict to the fore. The viewer is a witness, but slowly becomes the antagonist. The space is a place of imagination, where the line between watching and acting is blurred. Or in the words of Ismene: “I did it. I am just as guilty. I want to be just as guilty.”
