With Estado Vegetal she does the seemingly impossible: she writes a text for about ten characters which centres around a dialogue with plants. Her surprising text is performed by one actress, Marcela Salinas, in an equally comical and tragic rendition. And we haven’t even mentioned the breathtaking set design yet.

Manuela Infante is a Chilean theatre director, (script) writer and musician. She majored in cultural studies in Amsterdam. Manuela has written 15 theatre texts to date and creates her own performances, which she tours through America and Europe.
