Ana Naqe


Ana Naqe is an Albanian-Belgian soprano with a powerful, warm round voice and a passionate stage presence.

The Albanian-Belgian soprano Ana Naqe graduated from the Lemmens Institute with a Master in Voice and Violin. Her professional career led her to major productions like Die Zauberflöte, Die Fledermaus, and Carmen. Naqe is a musical millipede who combines acting talent with a great knack for improvisation, which allows her to excel in a wide variety of productions and genres. She has collaborated with renowned conductors and musicians like Rainer Roos, Dirk Brossé, Ivo Venkov and Jef Neve and for theatres like Opera/Ballet Flanders, La Monnaie, Le Grand Théâtre du Luxembourg, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the Brussels Philharmonic. She performs as a freelance soloist for Sint-Paulus Camerata & Sinfonietta.
