Join the World’s Biggest Spaghetti Fest at KVS

On Saturday 28 November the sweet smell of tomatoes and fresh basil will waft through KVS. Our house chef Bert will be chopping veggies like crazy, stirring pounds of (veggie or non-veggie) mince and grating cheese like his life depends on it. All this effort to present you with a delicious portion of perfectly cooked pasta, fragrant Bolognese and oozing cheese. All this goodness will be pre-portioned for you to take home – and all proceeds will benefit a brilliant charity.

Bert is cooking spaghetti with a purpose. This spaghetti feast is part of the yearly solidarity campaign organised by Bruzz, Brussel Helpt. This year their chosen charity is Babytheek Brussel. A ‘babytheek’ is a place where young parents or grandparents can borrow high-quality baby supplies. Brussels currently has only one of these, in Elsene – but due to high demand, the organisation would like to find the means to expand to other parts of the city. With the support of Brussel Helpt 2020, we can make it possible.

We are delighted to offer a helping noodle, and hope we’ve made you hungry enough to order a few platefuls. Reserve your portions via the Brussels Helpt website and pick them up on Saturday 28 November at Café Congo (Arduinkaai 7) between 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Bon appétit!
