Aller/Retour to the movie theatre
The pandemic proved to be the perfect time for Dorothée Vanden Berghe (Meisje, My Queen Karo and Rosie & Moussa – also written by Michael De Cock) to get to work with Michael’s script Aller/Retour and to shoot this road movie about a special friendship in Belgium and Spain. KVS co-produced the film and six KVS employees joined the crew. The film premiered at the Ostend Film Festival in February 2023 and will be released in theatres on 22 March 2023!

Aller/Retour tells the story of an unexpected friendship that blossoms between truck driver Erika (Ruth Beeckmans) and Idy (Welket Bungué), a migrant who hides in her truck. A tight bond forms between these two loners in a globalised world.
