Your visit to KVS with a Covid Safe Ticket
The dice have been cast: the Brussels government is making the Covid Safe Ticket mandatory for all hospitality and cultural events. What does that mean for your visit? From 1 October you’ll be back in our full theatres without face mask and without social distancing, but with a Covid Safe Ticket. You can find information about how the Covid Safe ticket works here.
- Your ticket, printed or on your smartphone
- Your Covid Safe Ticket
- Your proof of identity (ID card, driver’s license, or passport)
Have your proof of identity and Covid Safe Ticket ready on your smartphone when arriving, this way scanning can go easily and quickly. The Covid Safe Ticket can also be shown in printed form. When scanning, our personnel only sees your name, date of birth, and the QR code. There are no personal health details shared with us.
Arrive on time, so we can avoid long queues when scanning the Covid Safe Tickets.
You can request your Covid Safe Ticket via the CovidSafeBE mobile app or on websites like Mijn Burgerprofiel, mijngezondheid.be or MyHealthViewer. To request certificates digitally, you need either your identity card + PIN code + card reader, or an other digital key, such as itsme.
You can also have the Covid Safe Ticket sent to you by post. In that case, you will have to take into account a waiting period of 1 week between order and receipt. Contact the Helpdesk of the region where you were vaccinated for this. You will find all the necessary information here.
The Covid Safe Ticket also makes use of the same QR code as the European Digital Corona Certificate. So if you already have such a certificate, they you don’t need to request an additional document.
Are you not a resident of Belgium but from an other country of the European Union? Then you can use the European Digital Corona Certificate. More information can be found here.
Are you a resident of a country outside of the European Union? Then contact Info-Coronavirus to obtain a valid QR code.
The Covid Safe Ticket is free-of-charge.
Anyone aged 12 or older can request a Covid Safe Ticket. Children under the age of 16 may enter without additional checks. You can obtain a Covid Safe Ticket in one of the following situations:
- You possess a vaccination certificate: you have been fully vaccinated for more than 2 weeks.
- You have a recovery certificate that is less than 6 months old.
- You have had a PCR test taken with a negative result (validity: day of the test plus 2 days).
- You have had a fast antigen test performed by a medically trained person, with a negative result (validity: day of the test plus 1 day).
Our staff will scan the QR code on your Covid Safe Ticket or European Digital Corona Certificate and verify your identity. For this, you must present an identity document (ID card, driver’s license, or passport).
Can’t show a Covid Safe Ticket or European QR code at the entrance? Then unfortunately we can’t grant you access to the performance. You may not enter if you can’t prove your identity either, this is to prevent fraud.
No, we don’t offer on-site testing.
Brussels Health Safety Label
KVS obtained the Brussels Health Safety Label, a logo that shows that the organisation makes every effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Corona concession rate
We will also be maintaining the special corona concession rate for those who have found themselves in financial difficulty or emotional toil in recent months. Have you lost (part of) your job? Do you work in medical care and are you raking up overtime? Do you miss having others around, being a care-free student, are you weighed down by insecurity, …? Briefly escape reality and select our corona rate. No questions asked.
If you booked a ticket for a performance and it is cancelled at the last minute due to new Covid-19 measures imposed by the government, KVS guarantees a full refund for your ticket or the option to exchange your ticket.
