The Sanskrit word sāmara means both ‘place of war’ and ‘walking with the gods’. For choreographer Lila Magnin (Azad, #roof is on fire), these two definitions embody the deep-rooted duality of our world

In Sāmara she explores the growing consciousness within our society in recent years – a time of abrupt change that influences our perception and inner unrest. With this creation, she wants to hand down what we have to share today to future generations. On stage, five performers share their emotions intensely through body language.
