Daddy Issues is a new band where “issues” are contemplated until the dinosaurs roar. With dance, animal-like synths, storytelling and gameboy beats, they catapult you back to 1990s Belgium. The sound feels like what it is to be a woman: a colliding Alice in Wonderland, brainwashed by Disney, spat out by reality. When life’s a hard lump: make it sweet.
