Congolisation 2022
The 7th edition of the Congolisation festival will start on 30 June, the anniversary of Congo's independence. See you at La Madeleine!
Summer at KVS: Allo Apéro and Allo Kroket
Want to raise a glass after work or enjoy a delicious lunch or aperitif with a croquette? Why not do so at De Servante, our summer bar at KVS. Every Thursday in June and August we will be celebrating Allo Apéro (4pm to 6pm) with a wide selection of cocktails and other drinks. And every Friday you can taste the delectable cheese or shrimp croquettes from mobile croquette bar Flipper during Allo Kroket.
ICE at Festival d'Avignon
KVS face, choreographer and performer Bahar Temiz travels to Avignon with ICE. She’ll be transporting audiences under the French sun to icier planes with her magnetising creation.
Five KVS faces at TheaterFestival
A whopping four performances by KVS faces made it into the TheaterFestival selection this year, and our very own Moya Michael will be opening the festival with State of the Union! Junior Mthombeni will be revisiting his unrivalled Vaderlandloos, while Seppe Baeyens and his co-creators Martha Balthazar and Yassin Mrabtifi are set to receive an award for their dynamic creation Birds. Lisette Ma Neza will be showcasing Some Girls Want to Go to Europe and Valentijn Dhaenens performs his clever version of Het Gezin Van Paemel (a production by Skagen).
Bledarte sets up camp at KVS for acting workshops
KVS will be welcoming Bledarte on the regular this season! Every two weeks, this Brussels collective will be taking up residence in our buildings for bilingual acting workshops for a select group of people under the moniker Bled’acting. That way, they want to make music, acting and other art forms (more) available to everyone.
