FESTIVAL CONGOLISATION

CONGOLISATION – Afro-Diaspo-Arts - Festival Made in Belgium

CONGOLISATION is back! This multidisciplinary festival is the brainchild of KVS face Pitcho Womba Konga and aims, from a Belgian context, to shine a light on both the Congolese and the broader African diaspora.

And since this year, we’re doing things a little differently...

From now on, CONGOLISATION will take place alternately each year at Le Central in La Louvière and here at KVS. The festival will have a different home each year, but remains true to the same focus: creating space for the voices, stories and artistic richness of the Congolese and broader African diaspora. Theatre, dance, music, visual arts, film and conversations come together, creating space for encounters, exchange and new perspectives.

In September ’26, Le Central will celebrate the best of Congolese and African arts. KVS will take over the baton in June ’27.
