May Abnet is a writer, performer and cultural organiser. She is interested in the urban ecosystem and the poetics of space. She uses writing, mapping systems, performance or sound as thinking tools. She has been exploring city-making through different lenses, including studies in urban geography (VUB/ULB), medieval art history (ULB) and design and performance (KASK). She has been involved in different collective learning projects from State of the Arts, VierNulVier, One Field Fallow, Office for a Human Theatre. She has worked as a regular performer or collaborator for David Weber-Krebs, Hans Bryssinck and Radical Hope. She is currently working on a novel initiated as a Kunstenplatform Plan B resident.
