Mozes Mosuse is a young musician and multidisciplinary artist. He grew up in Antwerp, with Brussels roots on his mother’s side, and studied in Ghent before eventually moving to Brussels – a city that had always remained close to him throughout his life, and where his work can now take root in soil that has always felt like home.
During his years in Ghent, he composed the soundtrack for Through The Looking Glass, the graduation project of the theatre collective Krapp. Alongside his music, he focuses on an experimental artistic practice that extends into painting, graphic design, and creating his own music videos. He releases his musical work under his own label, Panacea, which also includes his project Movulango.
His debut album Asleep received critical acclaim, with strong reviews in Humo, De Morgen, and Focus Knack. Its follow-up, Fever Dream, is now being released—a record set within the tension between light and darkness, a space in which Mozes feels at home. His music moves between pop and the experimental: pop as a form of black magic, a spell that nests itself in the listener’s mind and refuses to let go.
Meanwhile, Mozes is once again working with Krapp, this time on the production Copyriot. The collaboration with Krapp offers him a deeply fulfilling way of creating, in which music and sound help shape the contours of their new world.
