Timo Sterckx (°1995, he/him) graduated from KASK with a master's degree in theater in 2019. He's a “making player” and doesn't hesitate to look for greatness and not-greatness in characters. He always starts from his instinct as a player. In addition to his own work with Krapp, he enjoys delving into the imaginations of a variety of artists and companies.

He has worked with Louis Janssens, Ferre Marnef, Julie Cafmeyer, Ellen Schoenaerts, De Roovers, De Koe, Myriam Van Imschoot, KVS, Theater Malpertuis, Bruno Vanden Broecke and WOLFWOLF. Timo wants to understand and master different forms of acting, from door comedy to classical repertoire, from invented language to wordless play. The search for what acting can be is his motivation in this profession, which constantly forces him to encounter and reflect.

With Krapp, he directed the productions Through The Looking-Glass (and what we found there), with which they won the SABAM Young Playwright Award at Theater aan Zee in 2019, Weird Tales (2021) and with the KVS - De Duivels/Les Diables (2023) and Copyriot (2026).

The Greatest Show On Earth, which he created with Louis Janssens, was awarded the Horlait-Dapsens prize in 2018. A year later, he received the Playright Player award.
