5 tips to reach KVS smoothly

Brussels remains a wonderful place to spend time, and we see it at its best in autumn. With the start of Plaisirs D'Hiver (from 28/11/25 to 01/01/26) and some ongoing roadworks, the city centre can get very busy – especially if you’re coming by car.

To avoid any hassle and make your visit to KVS as smooth as possible, we offer you five tips to get here easily.

1- Use public transport

Skip the traffic jams. KVS is very easy to reach by public transport. Brussels-North station is a 14-minute walk away, and with the metro (Sainte-Catherine station) you can reach Brussels-Central in ten minutes.

Our performances start at 6 PM on Saturdays, allowing you to catch your train home comfortably afterwards.

If coming by metro, you can get off at Sainte-Catherine or Yser station.

2- Take the bike

Stretch your legs and come by bike. You can safely leave your folding bike at our reception.

In the pre-metro station De Brouckère, you’ll find a secure bicycle parking at an advantageous rate.

And you can rent a shared bike at a low cost via villo.be. Several Villo! stations are only a few minutes’ walk from KVS:

  • Station 29: Boudewijn – Lakensestraat (near Yser metro station)
  • Station 30: Laken – Lakensestraat (between numbers 109 and 119)
  • Station 47: Quays – Kalkkaai 1–2
3- Coming by car anyway? Leave well in advance!

Sainctelette Square is currently being redeveloped, causing traffic disruptions near KVS. If you’re coming by car, it’s best to plan an extra 30 minutes to an hour to reach central Brussels. These works will continue until 2027.

4- don't park in the city centre

There are several underground car parks near KVS, but during the busiest months of the year, you’re better off parking north of the theatre.

Enter the city via the A12, the Royal Park Avenue and the Groendreef, and park in the ZIN parking garage in the North District, about a 15-minute walk from KVS.

Important: unfortunately, we cannot offer a parking voucher for this car park. The voucher is only valid for the Alhambra and Brucity car parks, from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

5- make a full day of it and avoid rush hour

Tacos, beef stew, ramen, pizza, West African dishes, Korean Fried Chicken: Brussels city centre offers a whole range of delicious food options.

We recommend grabbing a bite to eat before the show or exploring the city centre, so you can arrive at KVS fully relaxed.

And remember: our foyer or BOXBAR open one hour before the performance begins, so you can already enjoy a drink at KVS in complete comfort!
