European Dramatic Residencies supports playwrights from all over Europe. Selected creators spend a week each in Berlin, Brussels, Madrid and Vilnius.

The programme is a collaboration between KVS, Centro Dramático Nacional in Madrid, Z/K/M - Zagreb Youth Theatre, Lietuvos Nacionalinis Dramos Teatras in Vilnius, and Gorki Theater in Berlin.

During the writing process, residents are supported by the artistic team of each theatre, in addition to further creative collaborations. The writers share their research and their progress as they go, including during the residencies, where encounters and exchanges with professionals from the sector further inspire the writing process.
