Pass à l’Acte is an introduction to contemporary creation for high school students. 

The project unites five Brussels cultural institutions – KVS, Théâtre Les Tanneurs, Théâtre Océan Nord, Le Rideau de Bruxelles and CENTRALE – Centre for Contemporary Arts in Brussels – with pedagogic and artistic support by IThAC (Initiatives – Théâtre – Ados – Créations) and the support of COCOF.

Every year, this project offers five classes from the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th year of Brussels secondary schools the chance to:

• Attend 4 performances at partner theatres;
• Visit a contemporary art exhibition;
• Attend a meeting with artists; 
• Take part in 16 hours of practical workshops.

This project awakens the pupils’ curiosity, develops their critical gaze, and gives both youngsters and teachers the necessary tools to better understand, enjoy and interpret contemporary artistic creations. 

At the same time, the project lets pupils from different Brussels classes engage with each other.
