BADKE(REMIX)

laGeste & Stereo48 / KVS

After the performance on June 12, a post-show talk (approximately 30 minutes) will take place with choreographer Amir Sabra and several dancers. The conversation will be held in English.

A Belgian-Palestinian dance production

Badke(remix) is a reworking of the dance performance with ten Palestinian dancers that toured worldwide between 2013 and 2016, created by Koen Augustijnen, Rosalba Torres and Hildegard De Vuyst. Culturally-politically, this remix arises in exceptional circumstances. Today, the balance of power has changed. This repertoire now ends up in Palestinian hands, notably those of Ata Khattab and Amir Sabra. Badke(remix) shows zest for life and dance as a form of resistance.
