Brussels Bijoux is celebrating its fourth edition with a selection of four creative talents who, together, amplify the energy of our vibrant city! After an open call filled with inspiring and surprising ideas, a jury selected four creative projects—each shining in its own unique way.
What is Brussels Bijoux?
Brussels Bijoux offers amateur artists from Brussels and the Flemish Rand a unique opportunity to bring their artistic dreams to life. This initiative, set up by Zinnema in collaboration with Bozar, the Flemish Community Commission (VGC), N22, KVS, and OPENDOEK, supports four talented artists as they further develop their ideas with intensive artistic and technical guidance in Brussels’ community centres.
The result? A special experience you can discover on 26 February at Bozar and 28 February at KVS.
On 26 February 2026 at Bozar, you can see Nina Plantefève-Castryck with The End of the End at 19:00, and Izo Pinay with Thank God I’m Not Straight at 21:00.

Tshimundu – Bruxelles, I Will Make You Mine - 19:00
(Language: 70% English, 30% French – Dutch surtitles)
Bruxelles, I Will Make You Mine is a solo theatre piece that portrays the reality of African migrants who are “legal” yet struggle with Belgian bureaucracy. Set in a municipal office (Commune), the play offers an intimate glimpse into the often invisible burdens these residents carry: their frustrations, their hopes, and their daily struggles.
In the Commune, administrative procedures are like a glass wall—you can see through it, but you never quite get a complete picture of who these people are. This performance goes beyond the paperwork and explores the stories behind it: the search for identity, the path to Belgian nationality, and above all, a love for Brussels – the city of migrants.
Meike de Roest – Levenslijn - 21:00
Language: Dutch, surtitles: French
Levenslijn follows the story of a young woman who has packed her bag to leave for Canada when she discovers she has cancer. She refuses to surrender to the disease and dances bald in a nightclub during her chemotherapy. When she recovers but becomes chronically ill, picking up the thread of her life turns out to be harder than expected: does she still dare to take the plunge?
In clear and poetic language, the audience is given a glimpse into the world of hospitals and the life of a twenty-something living with cancer and type 1 diabetes. Levenslijn is a vibrant, musical story about changing course, daring to dream, and enjoying the calm after the storm.
Trigger warnings: This performance discusses medical treatments and hospital experiences, which may be emotionally difficult for some viewers.
