This exhibition is part of the project "Nous ne sommes pas dangereux, nous sommes en danger", led by La Voix des Sans-Papiers Bruxelles (VSP) in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (CRiS and BIRMM) and supported by the Collectif Formation Société (CFS).

It emerges from an in-depth reflection on feelings of insecurity experienced by undocumented people in public space, where mere presence often becomes an act of survival. Through photographs, videos and texts by activists and allies, the exhibition constructs a journey around four axes: places of insecurity, spaces of (sur)vival, trajectories of displacement, and sites of struggle.

While the works bear witness to precarity and constant surveillance, they primarily highlight the dignity and collective strength of the movement of undocumented people. The exhibition thus reveals strategies of solidarity and resistance beyond administrative invisibility, and underscores how VSP both defends the rights of undocumented people and contributes to their own safety.

This exhibition is supported by Kanal-Centre Pompidou and CFS and forms part of the annual symposium EXIL.S & CRÉATION.S.
