I’m.potent is a playful attempt to spark an on-stage dialogue around a complex reality: finding work as a newcomer.
Sandra Sara Raes Oklobdzjia (who is also creating M.O.L at KVS this year) dissects the job market through personal testimonies and rehearsed job interviews. What began as a living room monologue with Playmobil figures evolved—thanks to extensive research—into a dialogical rollercoaster.
Expect an unconventional documentary performance: inspired by Sartre’s No Exit and Chekhov’s The Bet, blending various performance styles and artistic forms, balancing between light-hearted girl-power scenes and the harsh reality faced by (migrant) women and artists.
