“Do we know about the stars and Jupiter, but not what goes on inside a mother’s mind?” In a detention centre, a psychologist must interview Rita, a woman accused of abandoning her baby and causing its death. What begins as a psychological assessment transforms into an unsettling exchange in which both women confront their memories, guilt and the ghosts of motherhood. Through blurred truths, strange humour and intimate confessions, the work questions the boundaries between sanity and madness, responsibility and oblivion, the desire to escape and the impossibility of getting away.
