Learning to repair instead of throwing away? That sounds promising!

Do you have a flat bike tyre or are you a danger on the road because your brakes don’t work? Is your coffee machine making too much noise or is your record player showing signs of wear? Bring it to KVS Repair Café on Thursday 21 May, between 4pm and 8pm!

Repair Café offers a meeting place for citizens determined to give their broken items a new life. During Repair Café, we transform our café into a cosy neighbourhood meeting space, where you can come for appliance and bike repairs, board games and a drink. In this co-creative workshop you’ll get all kinds of tips and tricks to extend the lifespan of your device. You’ll gain knowledge you can benefit from for a lifetime. You’ll also learn how to repair your own belongings with the help and tools of volunteer repairers. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not!

Important: repairs of large appliances, as well as microwaves, old TVs, and short-circuited or smoking devices are not supported.

After Repair Café, we will also officially open our new exhibition: Nous ne sommes pas dangereux, Nous sommes en danger (organized by VSP) at KVS BOX BAR (Arduinkaai 9, 1st floor).
Everyone is welcome!
