Diafragma - Catalina Insignares Martinez (Work in progress)
Drawing on mysticism, minimalist and durational music, and practices of active passivity (Éliane Radigue, Pauline Oliveros, Maria Zambrano, Fanny Howe, Simone Weil, zazen), Diafragma explores stillness as pleasure and ecstasy as suspension. Voice and body appear through friction, in suspension or inverted, creating a sound field in which the distinction between sound and silence begins to blur. The performance builds on choreographic and vocal practices developed in hollow (2025), somatic practices such as Continuum Movement, and collaborations with Yannick Guédon, Ester M. Bergsmark and Luce Fiagan.
WHAT HAS BEEN STORED - Jimena Pérez Salerno (Lecture on Work in progress)
What Has Been Stored is a performance bringing together a dancer and a sound artist, in which movement, voice, and live acoustic and electronic sound converge. The work explores sonic memories from early childhood, such as lullabies, rocking rhythms, humming and vocal explorations, as forms of embodied knowledge that are present in the body before language. Drawing on experiences of motherhood and migration, the performance moves between the intimate and the collective and asks what the body inherits, carries and transforms.
POTENCIA - Camilo Mejía Cortés (Lecture on Work in progress)
POTENCIA is a research project in performance, sound and movement that explores the relationship between subject, object and space through my connection to salsa. The project positions potencia (power) as an immanent force present in everything and proposes a dialogue aimed at generating new narratives, soundscapes and fictions.
FUTURE TENSE - Amparo González Sola (Work in progress)
The research behind Future Tense emerges from an exploration of the relationship between the future and memory. How does the future manifest itself as a trace within our bodies? From this perspective, Amparo González Sola approaches the future by returning to memories held in the muscles, fascia, bones and organs. Memories are understood as a material that is at once personal, collective and transgenerational. The piece explores choreographic processes that allow time to bend, to be suspended, and to be travelled through.
