Bam! Pow pow! Wham! Get ready to be sucked into a whirlwind of flashy monologues, shiny costumes and theatrical gestures. Aminata Demba and Aïcha Cissé enter the ring for the fight of their lives in C.A.T.C.H. (Coalition Against Type Casting Horror). In this space that is temporarily theirs, they attempt to free themselves of the many roles that are cast upon them as black actresses and women. 

Directed by Frédérique Lecomte, with whom they previously collaborated for their breakthrough performance Dis-moi wie ik ben, they explore characters and scenes from theatre history and popular culture. Themes such as repertoire, representation and role models are turned on their heads in a playful manner.

Demba and Cissé roll up their sleeves and join forces to free themselves from the dominant mechanisms and thought patterns, both within and outside of the performing arts.

In C.A.T.C.H. (Coalition Against Type Casting Horror), the duo seduces you to witness their experiences first-hand. They mercilessly expose important issues in a bitter-sweet performance scintillating with the joy of play.
