Ras El Hanout will be spicing up the stages at KVS for a whole week! Join us in celebration of the 15th anniversary of these Brussels bridge builders and rediscover a selection from their fantastic theatre archive.
If you’ve been around the block of Brussels theatres, the name Ras El Hanout probably rings a bell. Exactly 15 years ago, a group of friends created the theatre company, now a staple in Molenbeek. Their goal? To stimulate emancipation and dialogue in the city and on the streets through semi-professional theatre.
Their name refers to a typically Maghrebi mix of spices that hail from all over the world. A spicy mixture of cultures, languages and people is exactly what the company represents.
Join us at KVS in early November and get acquainted with Ras El Hanout’s warm way of making theatre and the intriguing, topical themes that characterise their work.
