KVS Café & terrace

You have the chance to taste the delicacies from our chef Simon Cavalier’s pans! He will be serving delicious lunches made with super-fresh seasonal and local produce. He mixes all the best from here and far away into a custom blend that will make you want to lick the plate. From the best toasties to veggie pita and magic mushroom vol-au-vent, Simon will serve it to you.

Brussels’ best!

Sip our new custom drinks! Lemonade made of herbs grown on a roof terrace in Anderlecht (Atelier Cuarenta). Coffee and tea in every imaginable flavour and fashion – with cow, soy, oat, coconut, … milk. Funky beers courtesy of Brasserie Vandekelder. And of course, fine wines and aperitives.

  • We request groups of 8 people or more to book in advance and to pay as a group. Reservations can be made by calling 02 210 11 04.
  • Sit back and relax with todays newspaper, just put it back when you're finished.
  • Allergies? Let us know!
  • In the evening and during the weekend, the KVS café is closed.

Terrace

Our terrace is a real hidden gem in the heart of Brussels. Come and enjoy the quiet, in the sun or under a parasol, with a nice glass of something good or a hearty lunch. Our terrace opens at the first rays of spring sun and closes at the earliest autumn spells. There is no table service; you can order and pick up food and drinks at the bar.

Hartelijke handelaars (Warm-hearted Traders)

KVS is part of Hartelijke Handelaars, a Brussels network of businesses that open their doors to people with financial difficulties. Hartelijke Handelaars can be recognised by a sticker with the logo on their window. This includes pictographs that show which services the business offers.

At KVS we can offer:

  • a hot or cold drink
  • free wi-fi
  • a phone for you to use
  • a charging station for your phone
  • a place to safely leave your belongings
  • a toilet

If you as a customer don’t need these services but want to make a contribution, you can pay for an extra consumption at the bar. We will keep the ticket and offer this ‘delayed’ consumption to someone who needs it later.
