SPEAK UP FOR PALESTINE

SPEAK UP FOR PALESTINE

Art Workers for Palestine Belgium / Oxfam Belgium

  • Language: MULTI
  • Surtitles: EN

We operate on a pay-what-you-can system (starting from 3 euros). The proceeds from the evening will go to various solidarity funds, in support of the Palestinian people and activists facing legal prosecution for their involvement in awareness-raising actions.

From Gaza, we are receiving the most unbearable images. KVS has previously called for an immediate ceasefire, supports Artists4Palestine, and strives for an Apartheid-Free Zone. In that spirit, we are pleased to collaborate on Speak Up For Palestine, an initiative by Art Workers For Palestine Belgium, in association with Oxfam Belgium, taking place on Tuesday, June 17.

The program includes talks, performances, music, and more, featuring, among others: Habibitch, Shanti Mouget, Thi-mai Nguyen, Wim Vandekeybus, Sachli Gholamalizad, Aldo Struyf, Karim Baggili, Etienne Serck, Tom Lanoye, David Murgia, Quarter Tone Hala, Ramzi Salem, Nour Balousha, Frank Barat, Lisa Debauche, Laurence Vielle, Arieh Worthalter, Jawhar ft. AZA, Firas Hassan, Eric Bribosia, Frederika, Layla El Dekmak and Islam Adhair.

Everyone is warmly welcome. At the event, several languages will be spoken (Arabic, Dutch, French, and English). Where possible, English subtitles will be provided, but this won't always be feasible.

We will also serve falafel, hummus and musakhan.

What else can be done? We have gathered a series of initiatives that help support Palestine.

    RED LINE FOR GAZA

All red lines in Gaza have long been crossed. This must stop. We are calling for an immediate ceasefire and the safe entry of humanitarian aid. Here we are gathering initiatives that support this call.
