Amor Mundi is about a night in October of 1977, when filmmaker Rainer Werner Fassbinder is feverishly following the news. A plane hijacking by a radical group keeps him awake. Fassbinder (a double role for actors David Geysen and Geert Vaes) flamboyantly discusses the foundations of democracy with his mother (actress Tania Van der Sanden) and his boyfriend (cabaret performer Pieter Verelst).

With The Interrogation, director Milo Rau and best-selling French author Édouard Louis wrote a highly personal play text about doubt and failure in their first collaboration.

The first part of the trilogy by Greek tragedian Aeschylus addresses the history between king Agamemnon and his wife Clytaemnestra. The king decides to sacrifice their daughter Iphigeneia in exchange for prosperous winds to help his ships sail to Troy. When Agamemnon finally wins the Trojan war, he returns home, where a confrontation with Clytaemnestra awaits him. 

In a heart-wrenching attempt to undo the death of his beloved, Orpheus tries to enter the Underworld for the three-thousandth year in a row.
